Packaging is great, it's very compact; (Makes a great holiday gift) It comes with extra steamer insert, you just need a screwdriver to attach handles.5. I love these cookers. I have had mine for about 10 years and have had no problem with either.
Salisbury steak, stews and soups are delicious when cooked in one of these. I recently purchased one for my dtr who is in school so she can prepare delicious meals in far less time.

I use them at holiday meals as potatoes go in one and yams in the other.
I have had the 4 quart for years the 6 quart is easier to use for many items.
I wish we kept the old one.It doesn't work at all any more.we just use it as another pot. We used an old Presto cooker for 20+ years before purchasing this one. We read previous reviews and bought it anyway. It worked once (after fiddling with the valve) and never again.
